2025 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) Training

In order to support the implementation of the 2025 Intercensal Population Survey (SUPAS), the North Toraja Regency Statistics Office (BPS Kabupaten Toraja Utara) held a training program for SUPAS field officers, conducted in three stages of learning. This training aims to enhance the understanding and competencies of field officers in carrying out data collection tasks accurately, effectively, and in accordance with the guidelines set by BPS.

The first stage of the training began with self-learning through a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), conducted from May 31 to June 2, 2025. The second stage continued with online learning sessions over two days, from June 3 to June 4, 2025. The peak of this training was the in-person learning session held on June 5, 2025.

This activity was officially opened by the Head of the General Subdivision of BPS North Toraja Regency, Mrs. Albertin Patanda, S.Si. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the important role of field officers in ensuring the quality of the collected data and expressed hope that the participants would follow the training seriously and responsibly.

The training was led by National Instructor Mr. Dannar Kurniawan Ajie Prasetya, S.Tr.Stat., who delivered the training materials comprehensively and guided participants through practical and simulation sessions. With an interactive and practical training method, it is expected that all participants will fully understand their roles and responsibilities in the implementation of SUPAS 2025.

Through this training, BPS North Toraja Regency is committed to producing professional and qualified field personnel to ensure the successful implementation of SUPAS 2025 and the generation of accurate and reliable population data.
