Abstract

The 2023 Census of Agriculture (ST2023) is the seventh agricultural census held by BPS-Statistics Indonesia every ten years since 1963. The implementation of ST2023 is a provision in Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and guided by recommendations from FAO, "The World Program for the Census of Agriculture (WCA) Covering the 2016–2025 Period". The implementation of ST2023 was carried out in stages, namely a complete enumeration of agricultural businesses from June 1st until July 31st, 2023, followed by detailed data collection through the Agricultural Economic Survey and the Production and Agricultural Environment in 2024. Booklet, Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Census of Agriculture - Edition 1 is the result of a complete enumeration of agricultural businesses from June 1st-July 31st, 2023, which prepared to provide a detailed picture of the condition of Indonesian agriculture businesses in 2023 according to subsectors and some strategic information in the agricultural sector.
